I went by my local Animal Shelter today to evaluate an Akita for ARMAC (Akita REscue of Mid-Atlantic Coast) prior to their pulling her for a foster home. We took her through the cattery.
There are 2 (different aged) litters of kittens there. I told them they really had to stop meowing or they'd break my heart. Adorable, all of them. Black and white, all of them.
The Akita? Wonderful, reminded me of my Dante at her age.
She's getting pulled on Friday.}:) She's so sweet, she won't be in a foster long. The kittens? Too adorable to be there long. My Shelter only euth's IF neccessary, thankfully. Unfortunately, that means the bigger dogs and older cats tend to go first.
