I'll be working (and listening to the Mumbai news) today until I leave for dinner across town.

I love Thanksgiving--not for its symbolism, but for the annual companionship of friends over a turkey with all the trimmings and lots of good wine.

My heart goes out to the city of Mumbai and to those innocents who have been killed and have had family members killed.
