I will be on Jim Freund's very long running radio show Hour of the Wolf this Saturday morning 5-7 (that's the correct time)..this means I get up at 3:45 am and Jim picks me up at 4:15--whoopie! and we go downtown to the studio and go on air at 5am.

Live on WBAI (99.5 FM) in New York City--If you're not up that early, you can probably hear the show once it's archived here:

I'll be talking about Inferno and The Del Rey Book of Science Fiction and Fantasy and there will be three copies of Inferno given away to callers during the two hours.

So if you're up late or early, or just can't sleep--even in you're not near enough to catch the radio waves directly, there's a live feed on the WBAI site:

Re: WBAI

I'm most likely using "kitsch" loosely. Exotic and retro might be better descriptions. One of the songs reminded me of a Carmen Miranda tune, and I immediately envisioned her wearing her hat of fruit.

Sorry to hear you have a cold. This has been a vicious year for sickness for most.

I managed to avoid the flu but now have had two colds in two months.
