Good news about The Del Rey Book of Science Fiction and Fantasy

I just heard from my editor that the book has gone back for a second printing--pre-publication. I'm hoping very much that it does well enough that they'll commission a second volume.

(My own editor at Del Rey is currently reading m'book. If he pronounces favourably, I'm going to see if I can wheedle a freebie out of him while he's feeling friendly. If there are any left in the office, that is...)

Oh definitely ask--the book isn't out till the end of this month--I haven't received an advance copy yet so I doubt it's in the office.
