I just heard from my editor that the book has gone back for a second printing--pre-publication. I'm hoping very much that it does well enough that they'll commission a second volume.

Yay!

(My own editor at Del Rey is currently reading m'book. If he pronounces favourably, I'm going to see if I can wheedle a freebie out of him while he's feeling friendly. If there are any left in the office, that is...)

Oh definitely ask--the book isn't out till the end of this month--I haven't received an advance copy yet so I doubt it's in the office.

After I pay for my forthcoming move and find a paying job to supplement the income, I will gladly do so!

I've been following your travails--didn't see if you found a place yet though...have you?

From: [identity profile] lagringa.livejournal.com

Nope. I'm most likely going to couch-surf for a month while I keep looking. Hard to find a place that will take two cats. So the kitties go to stay with my friend Katherine for a month or so while I couch-surf.

If you hear of anything, gizzus a holler!

Not that this helps, but Tempest Bradford is also looking for a place--but I'm guessing neither of you have the money to get a share together (rather than shares with someone who already has an apt).

I looked at her place already - it's just too dark for me. There's no light in the apartment and t hat would make me nuts.

Wow, cool. Now here's a dumb question: is this because pre-orders are already so high that they're expecting the first printing to sell out?

Fabulous! It looks really cool.

Who's your editor there?

I know- I can't wait to see the actual book--Chris Schluep.
