I'm going to give away some recent anthologies to readers who will blog about them withing about a month's time upon receipt...I'm afraid I can't afford to mail books out of the country so unless you're willing to pay the postage (cheapest way possible) you won't be eligible.

First up...two copies of the Prime reissued trade paperback of Black Thorn, White Rose.
Raise your hands!

I'll take one! I'm in the UK, and I don't mind paying postage.

I probably won't get to the post office for a few days....I'll let you know how much the postage is and when it's mailed.

Reannon,
I can probably get you a review copy (I hope) directly from my publisher. I'll pass on your info (I believe you :-) ).
I'll try to get you on my review list for other anthos too... do you read/review horror and sf as well as fantasy?

From: [identity profile] reannon.livejournal.com

I review everything, any genre that catches my eye as well as comics, TV shows and movies. It's a fun gig. :)

Thanks!

I already gots my copy. *is smug*

(and some day I'll have time to read more than two stories in!)

ahem--you're supposed to be blogging about it--remember? You can always talk about one story at a time. ;-)

Hi Ellen,

I'd love to take part in reviews of your anthologies -- if not this one, then future ones as well. I've been posting casual blog-reviews of books in my livejournal. You can check it out if you like, under the "book review" tag. I'm a fiction writer with a few pub credits, grant writer by trade, and I'm currently at work on a fantasy anthology that was recently orphaned by Haworth Press -- have been looking for a new publishing home for it, so maybe you'll see that in print one day.

I've always been a big fan of your fantasy and fairytale anthologies.

Thanks,
Jeff

Hi Jeff,
I will check your blog out when I have a chance.
I (hopefully) will announce another giveaway in the next day or so--but you'll have to be quick :-)

And thank you very much.

So I can't pre-sign up for it eh? :-(

I'm so not such a die-hard blogger that I'll ever be one of those infamous "first-comment" posters. Hours go by without me even logging on sometimes. I suck at give-aways. :-) :-) Oh well, I'll keep trying.

tsk tsk...we'll see what we can do.
Next up will likely be a couple that are eligible for the World fantasy Award this year to see if I can get more attention for them.

Oops, looks like I'll have to try for the next one. But I'd be delighted to blog about it, whatever it is. I love Terri's and your work.

Another will happen soon :-)Keep watching the skies!
Thank you so much.

That reminds me. I still have to send in the review for your last book and put up a condensed version on my livejournal. I'll let you know when both go up. Right now, I've only done the Amazon review.

Afraid you're too late on this one....but keep checking. I'll be offering copies of some other books soon.

*sigh* And if I'd bothered to read the comments, I would have noticed that and wouldn't have wasted your time. Thanks for being kind and not e-dope-slapping me. :)

God forbid :-)
If I can scare up some more books I'll giveaway more...I was hoping to put up a couple of Coyote Road and Inferno, but not sure I can find enough around the apt...

Hmm . . . serious review-type blogs with actual readerships only, or people who've only gotten into blogging in the last couple of weeks also? 'Cause if you find some spare copies of either of those, I'd be interested. I just looked at the Amazon pages for each, and they both sound great. (Does it help that I've got four-hundred odd books on my Goodreads shelves, about eighty of which I've written (admittedly short) reviews of?)

From: [identity profile] ellen-datlow.livejournal.com

As long as someone promises to blog it they'll get a book. But it's always first come, first serve. ;-)

From: [identity profile] foresthouse.livejournal.com

Oh, Lord. I'd love Black Thorn, White Rose, but my conscience wouldn't even let me take it (if I'd been in time) until I've finished Inferno! (Which I have started now, hurrah!)

If you'll be doing this for Coyote Road at any point, I would love to get in on it...I'd better hurry up and read! :)
