Diamond screwed the pooch and Mobile Libris's order was UPS'd MONDAY--so unless the books arrive at their office in the next hour or so, there won't be books for the readings tonight. I think the woman who called me found some of the best Fantasy (the Cheney co-edited book) but there's no Lucius to be found around town. Well, one copy of Softspoken that a Barnes & Noble had. So if you want something signed, bring it along.
Sorry for this last minute screw up.

Addendum: Rebecca ran to a B&N and found a few copies of Eternity and Afterwards (and other stories) and one copy of The Book of Common Prayer so that's something!

question: what is this KGB reading that people talk about exactly?

A long-running sf/f/ and occasional horror reading series at the KGB Bar in NYC's east village. Gavin Grant and I co-curate the third Wednesday of every month.

RATS, I absolutely meant to make the next KGB reading...ah, well. How about I aim for at least one by the time I graduate in May? Hope it went well, despite the snafu.

Please do.

It went very well--the books actually did show up (all of them) --there was a relatively small crowd because of Thanksgiving eve but the readers were great, the listeners enthusiastic, and dinner at Grand Szechuan yummy, as always.
