I had a great time last night even though I was (too) busy taking photos. I hadn't realized I wasn't the only person photographing for Locus or I would have enjoyed myself more, taking pictures less. Oh well. I barely drank as I couldn't carry purse and glass plus shoot camera simultaneously. I'm pretty good at one hand shooting but not that good. I'll upload the photos later. You can be the judge whether they were worth my sobriety.

Sorry if I didn't say hello to someone or didn't have time to talk in depth. There were a few people I really needed to speak to and did. And glad I did. Some good (not MAJOR) news possibly for next year. I'll follow up when/if it happens.

Not to worry. At least we are locals, and have a greater chance of running into each other elsewhere. I missed a few out-of-towners with whom I'd wanted to catch up. It's impossible to bat 1,000 at that event. Maybe if they gave us three more hours. :)
