Strange Horizons review
The final lines are:
"The anthology as a whole deserves acclaim for its willingness to take chances by presenting ambitious and complex work that could have failed in the hands of weaker writers. Ellen Datlow's point of view continues to be one of the most relevant and forward-thinking in the field today."

I'll just pipe in on "The "Goosle," and it's content, and say, well done.
One reason that we, as a community, country, and otherwise "civilized" society have child abuse protection agencies, etc. is, I'll repeat, is because child abuse no longer hides in the closet, under the rug, or any other cliche hole, meaning "hidden."
I respect each and every writer's, reader's wish to read, write, not read, not write in the topic of child abuse; however, I do not agree in any attempt to quiet the voice. Children are still abused. They still need our help, and unfortunately, it sometimes takes a person being put into the shoes of a child to understand the depth and widespread issue of child abuse. What venue does this better than a well told, unflinching story? Fiction can be more than just entertainment. Yes, fiction can change the world, one reader at a time, if the reader is willing to listen.
