I would love to have tons 'o money to buy some of what's featured on Chomick+Meder, an aggregate site bursting with amazing links to creators of dolls and automata.

After a grueling but satisfying five days I'm finished teaching the fifth week of Clarion West, here in Seattle.
Great class and a lot of really good stories, some of which are just about ready to submit.

Traditionally, each class gives the teacher a gift and this class did me proud. Learning of my love for and collection of doll heads and parts, and hearing from me about the Chernobyl kitty (two headed) that I received from my last Clarion West class in 2006, they really went to town.

They each created a doll head decorated in a different way (sometimes, but not always, related to one of their stories) and every head is glued to a pencil. These beauties will be shipped home to me where I will somehow put them all in a vase for a bouquet of doll heads.
Photos tk. Brilliant! Thank you all!

Now I will party this evening and relax over the next few days in Seattle before heading home.

Sherry Austin has a blog called Strangeness and decided to interview me about my doll collection. Which reminds me that I need to do some more photographing of them.
