From Pam:

"Hello All -
Today started out much like yesterday evening but by the time I left Paul's temperature was down and the coughing thing was going much better. He is even giving genuine smiles this evening. He walked around the ICU three times that I know of, one was a double trip around although it did tire him out. Not going to go into too much detail here but the tube count went down today so he doesn't look to much like a spider anymore and his movement won't be quite so restricted.

He had his first cup of tea (decaf) today and I have already been given instructions to purchase decaf tea and make him a "proper" pot and bring it with me tomorrow morning. I got permission and will do so.

Randy Roo & Barb were in to see him this afternoon and brought him surgical prezzies, one being a 3D book of nudes - along with the 3D glasses, which he can't wear because of his air mask. Just as well, we don't want to get his heart rate too high. LOL.

I will also take this chance to thank the D's for my surgical prezzie. Thanks you two!

On the home front...the cats continue to be upset by Paul's absence. Danu promptly show her displeasure at being fed late and is now trying to make up by sitting on the desk next to me and being very loving.

Again, it is late and I am tired so I am off to bed.
My best to all - Pam"

"3D book of nudes - along with the 3D glasses"

Hahahaha! He won't need the binoculars and those great tits nesting outside his recovery room window, after all! ;D

I just realized: probably one of the most important things in life is being around the people you love ...

Paris Hilton doesn't think so ... did you see her last video? She is realy NUDE! I saw this video on BBC today!

Crazy people around us!

Ellen - thanks for posting this stuff. It is good to know what Paul is doing OK.

Pam - if you are reading this, please pass on my best wishes next time Paul is in a fit state to be bothered with such things.

Cheryl,
You're very welcome.
I doubt she's got the time to read this. I'll pass it on to her though in an email.

Good to hear. And hopefully his oxygen levels are good enough he can get a full night's rest.
