ClockworkZero-- whose work I originally saw on someone else's blog (I'm blanking whose)--and I have been corresponding, and I commissioned her to create a few single earrings for me. They're reasonably priced and each is different, made from watch parts, charms, gears, screws, semi precious stones, and other random bits and pieces and parts. I love the bugs and airplanes.
There is now a store from which you can purchase many terrific earrings, brooches, pendants, and necklaces.
Check out her work here:

And men--consider purchasing something as a gift for your girlfriend/spouse.

I'm really pleased you like the earrings. Doing the commission was a lot of fun!

I am in love. Gears. GEARS!
My wallet hates you so much right now, but the rest of me loves you, so it's ok.
(P.S. One of the most bizarre necklaces I made during my prolific jewelry-making days used, as the center pendant, parts of a disposable camera flash. It was awesome.)

That does sound wonderful. I don't suppose you've got a photo of it?

I like doing jewelry, but I haven't had the TIME in ages. :) My current necklace project will be gorgeous when I finally sit down and order the remaining parts so I can finish it. I actually posted a picture of the unfinished project a while ago - you can see it as the last couple of pictures here: http://foresthouse.livejournal.com/396717.html .
