ClockworkZero-- whose work I originally saw on someone else's blog (I'm blanking whose)--and I have been corresponding, and I commissioned her to create a few single earrings for me. They're reasonably priced and each is different, made from watch parts, charms, gears, screws, semi precious stones, and other random bits and pieces and parts. I love the bugs and airplanes.

There is now a store from which you can purchase many terrific earrings, brooches, pendants, and necklaces.
Check out her work here:
Clockwork Zero

And men--consider purchasing something as a gift for your girlfriend/spouse.

Steampunk Coolness!

Do we get to see you wearing the commissioned pieces? =P

OMG! Ellen, thanks so much! I checked it out, and there was one necklace called Key to My Heart, and it's perfect -- my next book features exactly such key, so I quickly snagged it. Yay, I have an appropriate book piece!

Hi Ellen,
I'm really pleased you like the earrings. Doing the commission was a lot of fun!

O. M. G.

I am in love. Gears. GEARS!

My wallet hates you so much right now, but the rest of me loves you, so it's ok.

(P.S. One of the most bizarre necklaces I made during my prolific jewelry-making days used, as the center pendant, parts of a disposable camera flash. It was awesome.)
