Five copies will go out to the first who pipe up here for the new trade paperback edition and want to blog about it once they read it. US only (again, unless you're willing to pay postage).

I would be happy to blog about it, though all I've got is this here LiveJournal.

I know. That's ok. Just get me your address again please.

I'm piping!

I'd love to read it and would be happy to blog away about it, too.

Pipe!

(although it would have to be a delayed mailing, as books are already being packed up... if not, I cheerfully relenquish my spot.)

Re: Pipe!

Well, why don't you come to KGB the 16th? ;-) When are you moving back here?

Re: Pipe!

I'm GoH at Arisia this year, which starts on the 17th, so I don't think the timing's going to work... but I'll be in town (pending disaster) for the next one!

Am I too late? Happy to pay postage to Australia, and can offer reviews here on LJ as well as three different review spots :)

From: [identity profile] ellen-datlow.livejournal.com

Yes, I'll see if I can get my editor to send you one, otherwise I'll do it.
You can email me at my yahoo email address, which I've mentioned in some of the threads.

Nope you're # 5 as someone gets a review copy. Can you all email me at my yahoo.com address even if you think I have your addresses?

Re: I'd love to!

Hey Leslie,
Too late for this but if you don't have INFERNO I've offered that (or Subterranean downstream and there are some of those left)

Re: I'd love to!

If you have any Subterranean left, I'd love a copy. I'll be happy to blog about it, plus it'll complete my entire set. :)

Re: I'd love to!

Yup, a Subterranean is certainly left. Email me your mailing address, ok? You have my email, yes?

I've missed this but I review for The Pedestal Magazine and Greenman Review and I'd love to review it at either place!! (Though it will have to wait 'til April maybe at Pedestal if someone at GM is covering it)

out of curiosity, are there any textual differences in the new edition?
(and i also want to say thank you for your contributions on my dell/abyss thread over at shocklines. your input there was invaluable!)

From: [identity profile] ellen-datlow.livejournal.com

Nope. The bios were supposed to be updated but they aren't because instead of being reset, the book was shot from the original edition. I'm hoping that the subsequent volumes will have updated bios.

You're welcome :-)

hmmm, my old copy is looking a bit tattered, now that i've gone and picked it off the shelf so i'll probably be picking up the new one anyway.
thanks for the info!

OHhh - I bought it already and it is sitting right here waiting for me to finish your Year's Best first :)))

So, don't include me in any freebie give away although they are so lovely...

I've been seeing the YBFH blogging. I passed on your review of Jeff Ford's story to him-it made him happy ;-)

From: [identity profile] mallory-blog.livejournal.com

Oh that is wonderful :))))

His story is the kind that sticks with me, someday I hope to achieve his balance.
