AskDeb asks What are the Best 2010 Summer Books? and responds with a great mini-review of Digital Domains

and The New York Journal of Books also has some great things to say about the anthology.

Tomorrow morning, (very early) I'm off to Burlington, Massachusetts to attend Readercon for the weekend. I'll be using my brand new netbook for the first time but doubt I'll be doing more than checking email.

See you all back here Sunday night.
I can't believe I almost forgot to mention that I met the lovely vschanoes and I had a yummy lunch at Tea and Sympathy -with iced peach tea (free refills and all) and then braved the heat --at least it was better than yesterday) to Brooklyn near the Gowanus Canal (we walked across it) to Observatory, an art gallery that has a free exhibition of art inspired by H. P. Lovecraft. There were some wonderfully accurate figurines of some of his creatures, art by artists I'm not familiar with, but one piece by Bob Eggleton. Also, the Centipede art book was on display along with one artists' sketchbooks. Small but nice. And as a special treat, we were able to visit another gallery within the complex that had odds and ends of strange materials including a couple of Wunderkammers (a box of curiosities both natural and unnatural).

For more info check out the website A Love Craft--the exhibit is continuing through July 23rd.
