I did a Rube Goldberg project once for Physics, but we had limits on space and materials. They are fun to do but SO hard to get working consistently. I am in awe.
It was a crazy adventure, I tell you that! My two "teammates" were lazy bums, so I basically built the whole thing. Ours threw confetti half-way through and then popped a balloon full of more confetti at the end. We got the award for most times running without it breaking/hanging up. I think it broke around round 26 :)
Don't know that I'd want to do it again without some kind of incentive, though. Hee.
