Today is my birthday

... and I stayed up till about 2:30 to see it in (that's around the time I was born).
Ellie called me at 10:30 to sing me the birthday song (not Happy birthday but the other, better one).

I have to get ready for my annual birthday lunch with one friend and then later am going to Brooklyn for a birthday dinner with other friends. And if the weather isn't too awful, we'll go to the beach to see in the new year.

Happy birthday! I've never had any trouble being awake for my birth time, but since that's 9:00 in the morning, that's not saying much.
