SFWA Reception aka Mill & Swill

I had a great time last night even though I was (too) busy taking photos. I hadn't realized I wasn't the only person photographing for Locus or I would have enjoyed myself more, taking pictures less. Oh well. I barely drank as I couldn't carry purse and glass plus shoot camera simultaneously. I'm pretty good at one hand shooting but not that good. I'll upload the photos later. You can be the judge whether they were worth my sobriety.

Sorry if I didn't say hello to someone or didn't have time to talk in depth. There were a few people I really needed to speak to and did. And glad I did. Some good (not MAJOR) news possibly for next year. I'll follow up when/if it happens.

I guess I've totally blanked that out and as much as possible of those years with anything related to Charles, who at the WFC in New Haven got drunk and spritzed his beer at me in the early 80s. I do remember parties in lofts (one that Sheckley held in the early 80s where Harlan attended,) but I don't think they had anything to do with SFWA).
