Unfortunately, I doubt that I will be blogging while in Calgary so I'm posting mine early.
What I have to say is very simple. (and non-partisan, as we were asked to be)
Many years ago I was involved with someone who proudly proclaimed that he never voted. I was dumbfounded. How could someone who cared about the world and our country possibly opt out of voting? When I was growing up I couldn't wait to vote. I admit that very few of the presidential candidates I've voted for have won but I still think that it's crucial for us all to take a stand. To anyone who believes the two major parties of the US are the same I say hogwash (that's being awfully kind).
And for anyone who does not vote I say don't you EVER complain about where our country is heading or that so and so got in.
