Having a fine time--ooh the sun just came out in London after much rain last night. I'm in a cafe down the block from Kim Newman's where I've stayed the past two nights. Free wifi here. Kim's walls are so thick that not only can he not get the free wifi available for the block, but no cell phone service either. So I had to walk out into the courtyard if I needed to check messages.
Panel at Middlesex U with Ramsey and Lisa Tuttle went well yesterday--daffodils in bloom on the campus lawn! Nasty weather though. Dinner last night with Sara Biggs, Lisa Tuttle, and friends of Sara's. Wonderful Malaysian and we ate a lot and had a bottle of wine for about $16 each.
Meeting Cadigan at the tube to catch the train to Brighton so not much time here but wanted to catch up. Bought a comfy pair of shoes (I forgot to bring a pair from home and only had my cowboy boots and dress shoes). Oooh. Sun's gone ;-) But that's London.
