I'm still not quite finished unpacking (or figuring out where to store the stuff I bought, much of which is going to go for gifts this Xmas) but found among my luggage the card I picked up from a store in Aoyami twin tower mall complex--Nakata Hanger--I saw the store window while looking for a pharmacy and it had nothing but hangers in it--I was stunned! And found the card for the store: "made of wood, by hand, with craftmanship"--I didn't check out how much they cost. but you can here

Bev,
NYC used to have a "street of shoestores"--8th street, but it's lost its grip in the past few years.

We went to the street of plastic foods!!! We wanted to buy some as souvenirs but it was all to expensive. I couldn't see spending so much money on a joke. The prices sure didn't seem wholesale--maybe the insiders know how to get cheaper plastic food.

I am reminded...

of the November I spent running to every thrift store in town looking for cheap plastic food for props for our Revels show. To this day, when I see plastic food in a thrift store I have to remind myself that I'm no longer collecting Revels props.
