I received my authors' copies of the book today and it came out gorgeous, with the orange-red flames motif continuing onto the back jacket with black and orange flames. Tor's art department outdid itself this time. I've got to run and thank Irene Gallo and her colleagues again....

Also, Booklist will be running a rave review in its December 15th issue. The last line is:

"Eschewing many of the horror genre’s common motifs, the stories here achieve unsettling effects with less mayhem and more pure craftsmanship, so that this is one of the best recent collections of horror as literature."

I almost forgot to mention that when I return from my week-long visit to Maine (if I get there tomorrow --it's still snowing up there)I will likely do some sort of giveaway of copies of Inferno for those willing to blog about it.

Re: Inferno

Hi Tim:
Great. If for some reason you have a problem getting it, let me know and I'll give them a nudge, but they're usually great sending out review copies.

Thank you--it does my editor's heart good to hear that.
You're very welcome --I hope I can continue to do so in the future.
