...Among my favorites: Jeffrey Ford’s “The Dreaming Wind”...There is a solution, and an explanation, quite sweetly and originally unveiled. In Kij Johnson’s “The Evolution of Trickster Stories Among the Dogs of North Park After the Change”....Kelly Link’s “The Constable of Abal” is perhaps the best here. ....It is another delight from Link, charmingly told, original, fun and wise.
