From Pam:

"Hi All -

I walked out the door this morning into a developing sauna. Had to pick roses for the hospital bound boy. By the time I hit the road it was definitely going to be one of those New Jersey days when air-conditioning is very much appreciated. I think we are into our first heat wave of the season. The drive home tonight was over wet steamy pavement and a thick fog hung over the countryside and the lakes lit by occasional lightening.

Paul is doing well, more improvement from yesterday and the doctors are talking release - maybe tomorrow or Monday. I am missing my man since this is the longest we have been apart since being married. His cardiologist was in this evening just to check up on what all of the other doctors (more than you can shake a stick at) had done to him - we both like this man quite a lot - and he is happy with he outcome of the surgery.

I am now going to get myself some dinner and lavish attention upon the cats. The two new little girls are wound quite tight with limited play time over the past week and need to be put through and extended romp. :) They are somewhat like tightly wound springs at the moment.

All my best - Pam"

I will also be doing the "walk with the stars," which I mentioned previously, plus an autographing and I hope, a kaffeeklatsch.

From Pam:
"They have decided to keep Paul in the hospital another night. Needless to say, he was looking forward to getting out of there today. All of the doctors have signed off except the pulmonary specialist so hopefully he will do that tomorrow and I can get this man home. He, of course, is itching to get home if for no other reason than to get some sleep.
Again, thanks to all for the cards and emails.
Pam"
