Finding an image on the Internet does seem like magic, but luckily the artist posted his sales to his blog.

My GOOGLE technique was to put the book name in quotes to remove all the other best-of books from the search, keeping the number out of the quotes just in case that part was formatted differently, then adding "cover" and "art".

With a quick scan down the results I spotted the most obvious link, clicked, and there was the cover! I worded it as "I think it might be" since I hadn't corroborated with the artist.

Great detective work. I do love google search...you just have to find the right combination of words and you can find almost anything.
