She has won an Andre Norton Award, been nominated for the World Fantasy Award, been on the James Tiptree short-list, and appeared in various anthologies, most recently Steampunk! edited by Kelly Link & Gavin Grant.

Leah Bobet is the author of Above, a modern fantasy novel available from Arthur A. Levine Books/Scholastic. She lives in Toronto, Ontario, where she works as an editor, bookseller, and urban agriculture/public space activist. She is currently working on a literary dustbowl fantasy novel, tentatively titled On Roadstead Farm, and a book of poetry.
