photos from Florida

Jim got me going on with pc anywhere (last night and this morning I deleted another 50 or so messages to help out). We still don't know why outlook does this, although we suspect an incompatibility of some sort --with Norton or some other program that runs in the background. In any case, once I get my new portable hard drive to back up photos and stuff and throw into a safe deposit box, Jim will show me how to use that and upgrade my Norton. If we're lucky, the upgrade might help. If not... well we'll just see.

Today I downloaded and then uploaded all my photos from Florida this past long weekend. Lots of gorgeous cloud pictures....I deleted about 15 but there still are plenty. Also family photos.
For those interested, just go to my flickr site and scroll down the right for the four top sets:

Thank you :-) --how kind of you. I admit I sometimes get carried away and have trouble deleting.

Ooh, please don't delete. I especially love the con photos you take. I don't go to many cons myself (I think we met a couple times at WFC in Austin - you with your camera, of course - which was the only one I've made it to), so I love having a way to see everyone still, even if I can't be there.

I just mean the landscapes and clouds--I have trouble comparing them to see if one is slightly better than another--which of course you can do with prints.

Glad to bring back good memories.

I understand! Things definitely look different on the screen than paper.

And all your photos are beautiful; I added a few of the cloud pictures to my faves. :)

Love the iguana!

Isn't he great? That was totally unexpected. My parents and I got to the restaurant in Ft Lauderdale early and so while my father waited in the restaurant, my mom and I checked out the antique store across the way. As we left the store, there was the iguana, sauntering alongside the building. Apparently where we were isn't that far from a body of water.
