The hardcover fiction list is satisfying for a number of reasons--Inferno being #1, both as a reason and on the list--very nice--but I'm also very pleased to see that the list is dominated by anthologies and collections. At least readers dedicated to the genre--those who would shop at DD--are not ignoring short form fiction, where so much of the best horror originates.
I am perplexed, though, by "The Zombie Survival Guide" making the nonfiction list. Did I miss something? Has space radiation finally left Californians dead and "all messed up"?
