out of curiosity, are there any textual differences in the new edition?
(and i also want to say thank you for your contributions on my dell/abyss thread over at shocklines. your input there was invaluable!)

Nope. The bios were supposed to be updated but they aren't because instead of being reset, the book was shot from the original edition. I'm hoping that the subsequent volumes will have updated bios.

hmmm, my old copy is looking a bit tattered, now that i've gone and picked it off the shelf so i'll probably be picking up the new one anyway.
