More excerpts from Coyote Road reviews

excerpt from the review from The Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books.

Contributions from twenty-six authors explore tricksters through myriad lenses, cultural perspectives, and storytelling styles in this intriguing anthology... Even with most of the stories set in the United States, there is striking variety within this geographical boundary each [author] brings different interpretations of tricksters to this assignment, is that everything including animals, humans, spirits, and toys take their turn, all but guaranteeing that every reader will find a sample that fits their expectations of tricksters perfectly... AS

Also, some of the folk at Not If You Were the Last Short Story have been reading The Coyote Road...but as important, they're reading short stories from all over the place and writing mini-reviews. It's a good site for getting the Australian perspective.

Yeah, I saw that. It's fitting as I found her story very moving and an exquisite contemporary fairy tale (in every way). I would not be surprised if that story makes it to a Year's Best or two.

I've very much looking forward to reading that one (although I'll at least skim the whole antho!)
