Subterranean #7 giveaway deal
I've got a few extra copies and as a blatant attempt to get the issue out there and read and noticed I will give away five copies to the first five responders who promise to read the magazine and review the issue on their blog (or elsewhere)--positively or negatively--entirely up to you. Think of it as an original anthology--60,000 words of all original fiction ! Yum.
OT
This is the code you need to use. It allows you to use text as the link itself. (that link should direct you to the correct lj faq page).
This is a link to an example website
Re: OT
thanks
Sorry...
Try this: (a href="http://www.example.com/")This is a link to an example website(/a)
but replace the url w/ the one you want; replace "This is a link to an example website" with whatever text you want to use; & replace ( & ) w/ < and >. Hope that helps!
Re: Sorry...
easy to do
(a href="
http://www.urlthatyouwanttouse.com
")
thiswouldbethetextthatactsasyourlink
(/a)
Put all those lines together, watch the spaces & don't forget to swap the <>s for the ( )s.
Re: easy to do
sorry!
Re: sorry!
try this...
replacing the ( with < & ) with > . I can't leave it exactly as it should go or you'd only see the result, like this:
Charle's Vess' website Greenman Press
I'm not @ all sure it's you, either. I now have screwed up, in some way or other, every single comment I've tried to make here. AAAARGH!!!
or this...
(a href="http://www.greenmanpress.com/home.html")the remarkable Charles Vess(/a)

Yes, you do (check any of my messages on the All Hallows newsgroup ;-))
Although someone already tried giving me the template in an email and it still didn't work. Don't worry about it-life's too short, and for now I'm happy enough just posting urls that aren't pretty but that work.
