Books for blogging TWISTS OF THE TALE

Over the day and evening I'll be giving away more copies of The Coyote Road, the new trade paperback edition of my cat horror antho Twists of the Tale, and the new trade paperback of Inferno, also just released. Remember if you take them, you have to read and blog about them (positively or negatively)...

First three readers/posters who would like TWISTS OF THE TALE, let me know now.
And if you win just email me your address at datlow at yahoo dot com
and let me know if you want the book signed.

What makes you think no one reads it? You could always review it for amazon!

So are you on or no?

I would LOVE to review for Amazon

[personal profile] themadblonde 2009-03-25 10:38 pm (UTC)(link)
& would, of course, post it on my blog, but really, there are MAYBE 6 people who read my blog regularly, so I'm concerned I wouldn't be doing you a worthy service.

#3 Twists of the Tale

I'll take that chance--you got it. Could you email me your address (you can use my "real" email as you know it :-) )

If you don't have a third yet...

(I'm going to buy Coyote Road at work)

[identity profile] ellen-datlow.livejournal.com 2009-03-25 10:43 pm (UTC)(link)
So sorry- you just missed it because Karen expressed interest first...
I will be giving a few more of each book away over the next few hours (although I won't have enough jiffy bags to mail them all out tomorrow).

I didn't mean to hit the button quite yet. Where do you work?

[identity profile] zeelandia.livejournal.com 2009-03-25 10:57 pm (UTC)(link)
I work at a Borders, so I basically swim in sweet book temptation every day.

[identity profile] ellen-datlow.livejournal.com 2009-03-25 11:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh lucky you.
If that's your cat in the icon, she looks a lot meaner than my little lovely in my icon! Sheesh :-)

I have to remind myself, bills first, then books.
That's Fred, he's still just a kitten but for some reason always pulls this FIERCE! face when I take his picture. Never fails to crack me up because he's such a little cream puff. His sister Lucy I'm beginning to suspect is a government project splicing raptor/zombie DNA with kittens.

My Bella looks like a cream puff and is one :-).
My other, Dinah, is and always has been a bitch.

[identity profile] thorn-and-calyx.livejournal.com 2009-03-25 10:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Oooo, pick me please?

[identity profile] thorn-and-calyx.livejournal.com 2009-03-25 10:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh Livejournal, I can always rely on you to not show me comments or new posts in a timely fashion. *hugs Livejournal until it stops struggling*

Yeah, never mind. I'll try again later. *grins*

[identity profile] ellen-datlow.livejournal.com 2009-03-25 11:05 pm (UTC)(link)
It all flew by pretty quickly--there may be people just sitting and waiting...sitting and waiting :-)

[identity profile] ellen-datlow.livejournal.com 2009-03-25 10:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Afraid not this time but maybe later this evening try again.

[identity profile] jennifer-brozek.livejournal.com 2009-03-25 11:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Probably too late but me!

[identity profile] jennifer-brozek.livejournal.com 2009-03-25 11:19 pm (UTC)(link)
And I think I can convince Jason to let me do the review on the Apex Book Company website. *kitten eyes*

[identity profile] ellen-datlow.livejournal.com 2009-03-25 11:21 pm (UTC)(link)
In that case, you should contact Sean Wallace for a real, honest to goodness review copy!

[identity profile] jennifer-brozek.livejournal.com 2009-03-25 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Once I figure out how to do that, I will. :) I'm a new editor for Apex. Still working out how to do each thing. Thanks!

[identity profile] ellen-datlow.livejournal.com 2009-03-25 11:30 pm (UTC)(link)
If you have a problem getting in touch with him, let me know....or ask them over at Apex, they must know :-)

[identity profile] jennifer-brozek.livejournal.com 2009-03-25 11:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Will do. I have the query into Jason right now.
