Oh, the question of whether he "did it or not" is of course important--but the answer isn't as important (IMO) as the machinations of Sister Aloysius to get him out whether he's innocent or guilty.

I've heard that Amy Adams got some bad reviews for her performance (but I haven't read any of the reviews so don't know for sure).
