Some good news from Alaska

I apologize for posting so much about politics during the past few weeks, but I think that this is a crucial election that could be a point of no return if we don't shove the conservatives out (sorry if you're a conservative but this is MY blog).

This is from an Alaskan blog about the demonstration by Alaskan women against Palin. To me it's heartening -now let's make sure the word gets out. Pass it on:

‘Alaska Women Reject Palin’ Rally is HUGE!

ahem--and you MUST watch this:

Hilary and Sarah--together for the first time

Wow. I love that the rally against her drew more people than her own rally.

Yes. That's very impressive.

After several days of continuously shitty news from all manner of places, this makes me feel warm and loved by the universe.

Does 'point of no return' mean that all the Democrats are going to move to Switzerland if they lose the election?

Or those who haven't already join the military so that we'll have the additional force levels needed to handle additional simultaneous wars.

Or convince bankers and borrowers to stop the borrowing nonsense where borrowers are realistically unable to repay their debts.

And besides apocalypse is a science fiction staple. Who wants to take away that opportunity, that morning in America?

No it means our country goes down the tubes for good.

PM--have you not lived in this country under the Bush administration for 8 years?
We can expect more right wing supreme court justices like Scalia and Thomas--already the make up of the court has moved towards a conservatisim that has moved the US back in worker's rights, in constitutional rights, women's rights, and numerous other issues.

That's just one example.

Just curious.

Sorry to hear that the Supreme Court has been making your life difficult/miserable.

The sticking point for me is the suggestion of irreversible harm to the country forever and ever.

Of course you are.

The Supreme Court is not making MY life difficult or miserable because I'm lucky--I haven't (so far) been affected by its rulings.

I'm relieved to hear that the Supreme Court isn't giving you a hard time. I didn't think that they were but didn't want to presume.

Thanks for sharing!

KOS is reporting that the McCain post-convention bump may have flattened.

Good!
