I am pleased to see this new series-but it's really wrenching to learn that YBF&H will no longer be a yearly purchase/read. I have every one from First annual to Twentieth annual.I got the bad news just now, browsing around at Amazon. But I already have this book in my cart, and I'm sure I'll come to love it as much as I did YBFH. I like that it's also being published so close to Hallowe'en, and I hope it'll have the long yearly retrospective essays-much as I loved the stories in YBFH, I think I enjoyed the essays even more .
Yes, it's a blow to all of us--but it's just circumstance. I'll be doing the same amount of work (more in fact as I'm doing all administration for my book). It's possible that some time in the future Jim Frenkel will repackage the book with me and Terri and we'll continue --or start from scratch. You're missing #21 :-)
I'll be doing a summary, including what I usually do.
