The Coyote Road is out in trade paperback

Surprise surprise (it was to me) The Coyote Road: Trickster Tales has been out in trade paperback since January 8th. So if you haven't already bought it in hardcover, consider buying it for the very cheap price of $10.99 now.

The book has had three stories nominated for the Nebula Award, one for the World Fantasy Award, and the anthology itself was nominated for the World Fantasy Award.

Really loved this anthology. It honestly never occurred to me that Bugs Bunny was a trickster. Great intro and great collection. I hope you do another trickster collection somewhere up the road. Just great stuff.

So nice to hear that.

To tell you the truth, I've always hated Bugs Bunny yet loved Tweety Pie, who is also a trickster. :-)

I love tweety (old school he was SO crazy :) ). However, no one was a cunning as classic Daffy Duck.

Truthfully, I loved all the looney tunes though. There was something special about all of them. Sylvestor the Clown, Wile E the tragic hero. Even the Crusher :).

Favorites in the collection though? Charles De Lint's piece was nice, but I think my favorite was the wager with the PT Barnum like trickster and the near eastern counterpart. One of the cleverest stories in there.(The name escapes me as I'm in a lab right now writing.)
