It's kind of ironic that he would be so pro 'traditional marriage' considering his religion is best known for being polygamists.

And when he likely has polygamist ancestors.

But actually you'll find that a lot of Mormons skirt around their church's history on that subject. Not all, but several, especially in Utah.

When one considers this mistreatment and slander Mormons suffered largely because of this "lifestyle choice," one would think that they'd have learned a little bit about not persecuting others for their choices. Sadly, many have not.
